The Samuel Vargas International Music Foundation’s mission is to enrich communities and society with the power of classical music and creative education. SVIMF envisions access to life-changing opportunities through music education for all student learners, no matter their socio-economic circumstances.
Our organization’s programs offer a variety of opportunities to students around the world. Being an online platform, our students have access to instrumental classes, workshops, conferences, masterclasses, and presentations. Through our programs’ donations, accessories are collected and are intended to support the development of students with needs. Likewise, our organization acts as a bridge between music schools, conservatories and universities in the world so that our students can continue their professional studies in institutions of great world prestige.
‘Teaching Without Barriers’ is a program where the foundation serves as a platform for educational exchange and support to other organizations. This program connects with different schools, organizations, and music programs around the world in order to create partnerships where the members of our teams help these entities to reach their goals and overcome multiple difficulties of needs.
SVIMF has impacted more than 400 students directly through programming in the past year, worked and collaborated with more than 30 international guest artists, recently established a Guitar program for musicians from Spanish speaking countries, built relationships with students at our school to visit the communities and public schools around the area of Columbus, donated instrumental accessories to talented young musicians from socio-economically poor areas in South America, totaling $5,000 Participated in a series of conferences for personal and artistic development for the Carabobo Foundation in Venezuela (October 15th, 22nd, 29th).
